-The Cheat: Steps and Proceedures-
| First of all, after installation, you need to start a new game (Note: I will only be using one game save slot. In this game you can have 3 |
open and saved, if you have more than one you should edit the correct information under that games name in the hex code). It is not necessary that you play the game any - just simply start it. If you have the ability to register this program you should do it now. After you have done this, you should use RsrcEdit and open the record "Void 0" in the file called "Saved Preferences."
To activate the cheats do the following:
To have 16777215 credits cash edit the following lines:
Line 0458: 0014000000640000
line 0460: 0000640000000000
So that it looks like this:
Line 0458: 001400FFFFFF00FF
line 0460: FFFF000000000000
To have 255 of each item edit the following lines:
Line 0440: 0000000000000000
Line 0448: 0000000000000000
Line 0450: 0000000000000000
To look like this:

Line 0450: 00FF00FF00FF00FF
Note: Editing for trade items in this way will cause the result to be an inexhaustible 255 store of each item. If you want to be able to become "out" of the items in trade set the value much lower! Also, remember that if you have any of the illegal items on board your ship you will be hailed by the police every time you try to enter the stations.
To have 127 of each item in equipment edit the following lines:
Line 0430: 0000000000000000
Line 0438: 0000000000000000
To look like this:
Line 0430: 000000000000007F
Line 0438: 03037F7F7F7F7F7F
Note: Concerning the amount 127: These values can be set to FF but that Pushes result to -1. If you use 80 for this value the result is pushed to -126. 127 is the most you can get, but hey, when are you ever going use more than 126 of these anyway?
Concerning stations: You will have enough money to buy stations, but you have to do this in the game. The amount of stations cannot be more than three and are stored in the bolded 00's above. Do not edit this value yourself. If you set it to 03, when you come back in the game you will have 3 stations, but all three will be the same (usually Vit, Vit, Vit) and when you go to that planet you'll get a fatal alert. If you set it higher than 03 it will cause a fatal alert.
Also Note: Setting the values for missiles and ECM higher than 03 proffers no one. (i.e. - You should always set it to 3... because it will register 0 if you don't when flying in space.)
Note: Editing for master is actually editing for kills, OTD, jumps, and missions.
To become a master [kills, OTD, jumps, and missions] edit the following lines:
?? = VARIABLE (These values and may change and should not be edited for this cheat.)

Note: The game I used to get these cheats was in NORMAL MODE, but the trade cheat and the money one should work in the TRADE ONLY MODE just the same.
